FULL
MEMBERSHIP - Entry in the Doctors List
Doctors wishing
to have their details entered in our list of practising physicians with
an active interest in Androgen Deficiency must become Full Members of
the Society for the Study of Androgen Deficiency.
Full membership
is extended to Ordinary Members who wish to become more involved in the
activities of the Society and perhaps to contribute to the running of
the Society by applying to join the Executive Committee in due course.
To qualify as a Full member, a person must be judged by the Executive
Committee to be 'contributing to the aims of the society'
There are
a number of ways in which an ordinary member can achieve full membership,
as follows:-
(a) the member
works as a health care worker or within professions allied to medicine
or is an academic or researcher in this area of medicine. In addition,
the member must qualify in terms of at least 2 or more of the following:
(b) the member has been an associate member for 3 years;
(c) the member is practicing in this area of medicine;
(d) the member has attended a training course run by the society;
(e) the member has attended conferences, academic meetings and /or seminars
relevant to this area of medicine;
(f) the member has produced outstanding research in this area of medicine
(g) the member has in other ways contributed to the objectives of the
Society
Full Members
are eligible to stand for the Executive Committee and have full voting
rights.
Practising Full Members who are treating androgen deficiency in the adult
can request that their details be displayed on our international practitioners
list which is available to the public.

then be contacted by the Secretary if any further information is required
to submit to the scrutiny of the Executive Committee.
