Prior to the worst of the itching I had regularly been applying Daktarin Gold cream and Daktarin Gold dusting powder each time I showered. My GP prescribed it without taking a scraping and it seemed to be quite effective, but the recent attack was driving me up the wall and Daktarin wouldn't do it for me. I'm a fat old git and have suffered fungal infections in the groin on many occasions in the past. The flab in that area prevents the circulation of air and so my groin is always damp with sweat. The tea-tree oil smells like creosote so I will be happy to give Daktarin another go as it's more or less odour-free. Thanks a lot for your help,
